Blue River – Indiana – Planned Spontaneity

Blue River – Indiana – Planned Spontaneity
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

I lately purchased a kayak and needed to strive it out! I met my pal Amy in Milltown, Indiana, which is in southern Indiana close to Interstate 64 at Cave Nation Canoes for a float journey!

Being from close to St. Louis, float journeys are a staple of summer time. We often float Missouri rivers which might be clear and have rocky bottoms.

We floated the peaceable Blue River and selected the half-day journey, which was 7 miles. This float could be good for teenagers.

I’ve nothing however nice issues to say about Cave Nation Canoes! They’ve an excellent set-up within the coronary heart of city, and everybody was tremendous pleasant!

We took a bus to the beginning close to an previous iron bridge.

One of the best half is additionally they enable canines on the float journeys and have been very accommodating, even permitting Ellie inside their store!

I actually preferred how the Blue River was quiet, and the banks have been lined with bushes. We noticed so many turtles too!!!

You’ll want to take a look at Cave County Canoes if you wish to float the Blue River!
